Technician as nice and knows his job. But this unit had gotten very noisy that's why I call him back out. in the past 2 weeks now it more. Very noisy. It wakes me up 3-4 times a nite. I had some one come out and look at it. They said it is 'surging' and is not right.

PROBLEM: MINI SPLIT IN SERVER ROOM NOT COOLING. DIAGNOSIS: SYSTEM WAS LOCKED OUT ON HIGH DISCHARGE TEMPATURE LINE. THIS IS A RESULT OF A FREON LEAK LOCATED AT THE FLAIR CONNECTIONS. REPAIR: RECOVERED EXISTING R410 FREON. REPLACED THE FLAIRED CONNECTIONS. PRESSURE TESTED THE SYSTEM. EVACUATED THE SYSTEM. RECHARGED THE SYSTEM WITH 3 LBS OF NEW R410A FREON. CLEANED UP ALL THE OIL ON THE OUTDOOR UNIT DUE TO THE FREON LEAK. CLEANED THE OUTDOOR COIL AS WELL. UNIT IS NOW COOLING JUST FINE WITH NO OTHER ISSUES. NOTE: THIS WAS A LEAK FROM INSTALL DAY ONE.

WANTS SECOND OPINION ON EVAP COOLER CONDITION. DIAGNOSIS: EVAP COOLER IS IN GREAT CONDITION. THE PADS LOOK FINE WITH NO SCALE BUILD UP. THE PUMP LOOKS NORMAL AND RUNNING WATER OF THE PAD OK. THE FLOAT AND BELT LOOK FINE. THE COOLER IS DOES NOT HAVE DIRT BUILD UP OR APPEAR TO HAVE A LACK OF MAINTENANCE. NO REPAIRS NEEDED AT THIS TIME.
