San Diego is home to some of the most pleasant beaches on the west coast, making it a top destination for the whole family to enjoy.
And with magnificently enjoyable weather nearly all year long, San diego is absolutely one of the best places to spend a Thansgiving weekend. If you’re looking for sunshine and sandy beaches, head west this year; San diego won’t disappoint.
Definitely considered to be one of the coolest, hippest cities in the nation, Denver stands out as a top choice for anyone looking to travel this year for thanksgiving. The Mile-high City has more activities and attractions than anyone could fit into a weekend, but experiencing some of the most wonderful weather of the year in such a beautiful city makes it well worth the trip.
Along with that, the start of ski and snowboarding season definitely gives Denver a significant travel appeal. Anyone looking to take in a weekend full of fresh air as possibly looking to do a couple of runs down some of the nation’s best slopes, Denver, Colorado should definitely make your list.
Phoenix/ Scottsdale, Arizona
The Valley of the Sun is nationally known for what seems to be an endless summer of blazing sunshine as temperatures soar well into the triple digits. However what some may not know is that as scorching as Phoenix’s summers can be, the fall season across Arizona is more beautiful than they could imagine. Fall in Phoenix is easily the most enjoyable time of the year, bringing mild, sunny days and delightfully chilly evenings.
Home to some of the loveliest golf courses and shopping spots in the country, as well as some of the most unique landscapes and wildlife around, Phoenix and Scottsdale make for one of the best places to be this year for the thanksgiving holiday.
